I had this idea when I was trying to think of a &ldquo;fun&rdquo; way to get all these posters out so that we can get more people to attend this year and so that The Arts Council can make more money to continue to promote the arts in Morris County.<br /><br />Here is the drill&hellip;&hellip;<br /><br />Meet at Greenberry&rsquo;s coffee shop on the green in Morristown at 10:00 on Saturday, May 31st if you are from surrounding areas (of Morristown) simply stop by have a cup of joe, take some posters and flyers and take them back to your community to distribute them. If you want to saturate the Morristown area just grab some scotch tape (will be provided) and pound the pavement.    <br /><br />The person or group that gets the highest number of businesses in a town to actually put up a poster or put flyers on their counter wins a prize!  The prize is- a bottle of wine and six free tickets to the Giralda Farms Concert a $90.  value!<br /><br />So let me know if you are interested..<br /><br />I look forward to hearing from you- I promise it will be fun! What makes the Ahn Trio so unique is that they are classical musicians with impeccable credentials and a career and a purpose that is having a stunning impact on the concert and the chamber music world.  <strong><em>People Magazine</em></strong> places all three Ahn Trio members in the "50 Most Beautiful People" list.  <br /><br />Lakeland Youth Symphony has a limited number of tickets available to all Lakeland students and their families. Short Memorial Award will be presented annually at the spring concert to a graduating senior, in recognition of years of dedication and commitment to the Lakeland Youth Symphony.  The Board will select a deserving student based on involvement, leadership qualities, musicianship, and volunteer efforts on behalf of Lakeland.  Each recipient will receive a plaque, a monetary award, and their name on a plaque that will remain in the Rehearsal Hall, listing each year's honorees.  This award will inspire students to give their best to Lakeland while remembering Richard Short for his generosity and support of the students and mission of the Lakeland Youth Symphony for so many years.  Congratulations to Jacqueline Cohen, our first recipient of the Richard L. Short Memorial Award.  Jackie will be attending Boston University in the fall, where she will continue to play violin.
