Come hear our orchestras play an amazing repertoire of music at our Lakeland Youth Symphony 2012 Spring Concert to be held at Mountain Lakes High School, 96 Powerville Road, on Monday, May 21st at 7:00 pm. Support our young musicians with your presence...you won't be disappointed!
Our parents and young people should be reminded of the following:
- * Musicians should arrive no later than 6:30 pm.
* Musicians should wear concert attire - no jeans or sneakers, please.
* Lakeland Strings and Symphony Strings should bring 2 dozen finger desserts
* Youth Ensemble should bring small half-pint bottles of water, small cans of soda, or juice boxes.
* Concert tickets will be available for $7 at dress rehearsals or at the door the night of the concert.
For three weeks this summer, 17 students from the Symphony Strings formed the 2011 Lakeland-to-Go ensemble. They had 5 fun practices, learned 7 varied pieces of repertoire and performed 3 outreach concerts.
